Vectr

Vectr needed to turn a complex offering of data and AI services into a clear, compelling story. I shaped the website’s UX, brand design and content strategy, working with an internal data visualiser and a project manager.

The challenge.

Vectr’s data and AI services were difficult to understand from the outside. The challenge was to make that offer approachable and appealing through clear explanations, human content and strong cases, while still showing the depth of the team’s expertise.

The key decision.

We used straightforward, human language and warm imagery that felt close to people. The homepage introduced the offer in terms visitors could understand, while the cases provided room for technical depth. I interviewed the client to write case studies and reshaped existing in-house articles into readable, useful content.

The rejected option & why.

Leading with technical terminology on the homepage would have made the offer harder to grasp. We kept the first introduction accessible and reserved detailed technical explanations for the cases, where readers could explore the expertise behind the work.

The outcome.

The result was a fresh, modern and visually appealing website, reviewed against what a visitor would expect to find. A clearer service story, readable articles and more substantial cases made the offer easier to explore without losing its technical substance.

The final verdict.

My outside perspective helped reveal where expert knowledge needed more context. Combining UX, brand design and editorial work made it possible to explain the services in everyday language, then support that accessible introduction with deeper evidence in the cases.
